The 2008 season of the ABCC Premier Poker League finished on Tuesday night and saw Baz crowned as the champion. Big Ern took the runner-up spot, whilst Jock took 3rd place. Shakey took the wooden spoon as he played like a complete monkey for the vast majority of the season. The 2009 season will get underway next tuesday. Anyone wishing to join the league this year should contact Badger or Baz as they generally tend to do most of the organising.

The December 100 Club draw was made on Monday 22nd December at the Why Not by last months winner Chris Perkins. The results were as follows:

2nd: Jason Cavney (£10)

I thought it was time for a new look again. I have learnt one or two new tricks recently and have tried to use them to smarten up the site. I'm still having difficulties with the odd thing but mainly it all seems to work. Again, due to the fact that i use code that isn't recognised by earlier versions of IE some people might have a ropey looking menu on the left hand side.

I'm going to change the kit order deadline as I wont get a chance to see everyone by then. I'll let you know when the new date is.
